Terms of Service

These terms apply to purchases from Polished 4x4 (ABN 37 551 024 426), Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars. Advertised prices are for pickup from Box Hill South, VIC 3128; delivery is a separate cost billed at the freight carrier's rate. Polished 4x4 is not currently registered for GST; prices do not include GST. This page will be updated if our registration status changes.

Orders and payment

We accept payment through our online checkout, bank transfer, PayID, and cash on pickup. A $200 deposit holds a tent for 14 days; the balance is payable before collection. Goods are released or dispatched only after full payment has cleared. Title in the goods passes to you on full payment; risk passes on collection or, for freight orders, on delivery.

Fitment and load security

You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle and roof rack are suitable, including a minimum 75kg dynamic load rating, and for correctly securing and restraining the tent for transport. Load restraint is the driver's legal responsibility under Australian road rules.

Pickup safety

The T1 weighs 68kg and requires two able adults to lift. Where we assist with lifting or loading, we do so as a courtesy. If you attend pickup without a second person, we may reschedule, or proceed with you accepting responsibility for safe manual handling on your side. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Our Refunds & Returns Policy forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
